Certificate in Welding and Fabrication

Its purpose is to train and empower students to build steel and simple structures to customer requirements, weld and repair bridges, pipelines, wharves, tanks, and other steel works. It also should empower graduates to engage in small business opportunities such welding bays, motor mechanic shops, and building contractors in the urban and regional areas.

Course duration is 9 months that comprises of level block in basic welding and fabrication skills in hand tools, drilling, welding, grinding and pipe and steel structure forming and welding. Upon completion of this training, graduates will able to find employment with public and private transportation sector.
